The other day Corey and I took a day trip to Edgerton, Wisconsin's tobacco headquarters.  The small town was once home to the mid-west's most thriving tobacco industry, 30+ tobacco buildings/warehouses, a busy train station, a high end hotel as well as a number of mansions.  Today, there are a handful of brick tobacco buildings left that are either empty or remodeled/repurposed, a train station converted into a cute coffee shop, a few mansion museums/tour houses as well as a lovely creek and trails.  It was great to roam the quiet streets fantasizing of what the town's heyday was like.
